Beauty, intelligence, and purpose define Michaela Tomanová, the reigning Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025, as she prepares to represent her nation at the upcoming Miss Universe competition, to be held this November in Bangkok, Thailand.
At 28 years old, Michaela Tomanová has built a unique career that bridges international modeling, scientific research, and social advocacy. She began modeling at the age of 12, collaborating with prestigious fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, Julien Fournié, Monique Lhuillier, Wolford, and Ziad Nakad, and has walked the runway at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week more than fifteen times. Her fluency in French played a key role in her international success.
Beyond the runway, Michaela studied Nutritional Therapy at Charles University in Prague, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She is currently pursuing a PhD, with her research focusing on metabolic disorders in people living with HIV—a project she has led for over five years with the support of the Grant Agency of Charles University.
Michaela is also a mother to a 16-month-old daughter, the founder of HiWellness, a platform dedicated to modern HIV care, and the creator of WellAware, a sexual health education program for schools. In 2025, she was named an Ambassador of the Czech AIDS Help Society, further solidifying her role as an advocate for health and social impact.
