Villano is currently recognized as one of the most creative rappers in Latin America, standing out for her natural command of flow (the rhythmic quality and connectivity of words) and chanting (the delivery, cadence, and tonal control within verses). Her music goes beyond trap and the traditional urban genre, offering deeply personal and revealing lyrics that explore identity, culture, and the experience of growing up as a queer person in the Caribbean.
In 2022, she released her debut album, La Sustancia X. In 2023, she toured extensively across Europe and Latin America, performing at major festivals and venues such as Primavera Sound (Barcelona), Roskilde Festival (Denmark), Madrid and Barcelona Pride, and Lollapalooza Chile, among others. In 2024, she released her second album, Miss Misogyny, further solidifying her position within the global alternative music scene.
Throughout 2025, she expanded her international presence with an extensive European tour, performing at major festivals and venues including Primavera Sound Barcelona, Mallorca Live Festival, Zebra Festival (Valencia), Negrita Festival (Santander), Marisquiño Festival, and BAM Barcelona, as well as key performances in cities such as London (Jazz Café), Berlin (Pride), Lisbon, Ibiza (Bresh), and Bilbao (BIME), among others. That same year, she was nominated for Premios Juventud 2025 in the Girl Power category for her collaboration on “La Reina (Remix)” alongside Lola Índigo and Maria Becerra, reinforcing her growing impact in the global music industry. In addition, she released the single “XXL,” marking a new chapter in her artistic evolution. Now as of 2026, she is currently working on her upcoming album, continuing to push boundaries and expand her cultural influence worldwide.
